If you use standard compression programs, that is. I saw a mention about a freely distributable lossless audio compression program in comp.sys.amiga.multimedia a few weeks ago, but I didn't save the article :-( The author claimed 50% to 70% compression factors. Maybe it would be worthwhile to hunt down this piece of software if we want to make more large sample files available? -- Markku Kolkka mk59200@cs.tut.fi
