Now it would have good to "cheat" in the lyrics and have:
	Comme une chatte
OK, totally non-French, but it would have put gender on the c(h)at.

Isn't "Something happen I'll regret." grammatically incorrect? Either:
	Something will happen ...
	Something'll happen ...
	Something happened ...
	Something is happening ...
Although listening I do hear the lack of grammar.
I still sing it with the "'ll" and make it fit the available note slots,
it seems they way she sings she skips the first note, ie comparitive:
	Me:   Some thing ll    happen
	Kate:      Some  thing happen
OK, I shouldn't correct Kate on HER song, but if I'd been there in 1980
I'd have put my 2p worth in to her, as she says it's the music that
should be right, no one person should dictate how it will sound.

On another song, "Something Like a Song/In My Garden" I wonder if
the lines:
	A piper
and later:
	Rest and sing
just before the "oohoo"s, *may* have originally ment to be instrumental
comments, ie to say a piper to play the first oohoos, then later to rest
for a moment then sing the oohoo line. The 3rd time by a piper again.
Since she had apparently 200 songs, the comments may have been seen as
words to sing, so for the tape recorder demo she just sang what she wrote.
It's something I could imagine happening.

Another "error" is in "Where Are the Lionhearts/Lionhearts" the lines:
	Climbing up the adders
	To slide down the adders
surely should be:
	Climbing up the ladders
	To slide down the adders
as in the childrens game "snakes and ladders", which I've seen called
here (MN, USA) "chutes and ladders", same game?
I can imagine again a "reado", "writo", or "singo" (as in typo).

Just thoughts, not an insult to KaTe!
