This happened a few months ago, but I forgot to ask about it: I was listening to the CBC one morning and a piece came on that the host said was called "I Am the Rose of Sharon", which in itself isn't so strange, except that the first two lines were "I am the Rose of Sharon/I am the Lily of the Valley" which of course sound an awful lot like two lines from The Song of Solomon. Is there something that I don't know about these two flowers? Some symbolic implications about the two of them together? Has Kate ever addressed this? --
