   And that, of course, is a sexist statement.  Just because people think
Kate & Dave are gettin' it on, that does not necessarily mean they *must*
believe the former could only succeed with the latter.

   Actually, it seems a pretty obvious connection to make.  Dave discovered
her, he makes good music, she makes good music. . .it would not be
unreasonable for *anyone* who liked Dave and Kate to wonder/wish/presume
they were doing the matress mambo.
