Touring

        Is everyone aware of the primary reasons that Kate doesn't tour     
        anymore? I too have always been saddened by the fact that I can't   
        see her perform, but after she lost a crew member to a stage        
        rigging accident she called off any future touring.  That and the   
        fact that personally handling every aspect of her live shows was    
        exausting.
        I've seen the live video from her show at Hammersmih Odeon, and was
        frankly amazed at the production!  At least 10 Years ahead of her   
        time on that one.

     Although this was the case for a long time, those of us that went to 
     the convention in London were told, by Kate herself, that she was 
     going to tour again.  Now this was in 1990 - I can only assume that 
     other projects got in the way, this is now just a question of 
     logistics, no longer the tragedy envolved with Bill's death!!
