You have compromised your credibility as a 'semiquaver' is a unit of _time_, 
not of frequency (and, yes, I do realize that frequency is also time, but in 
a different perceptual domain).

And for my 2p to this whole thread, I offer a quote from a famous insurance 
salesman:

   "Don't listen too closely to the notes or you will miss the music."

Probably I should add that Charles Ives also had a thing or two to do with 
music as well.
