To give credit where it's much deserved, last year's Chicago Katemas
party was held at Chip Lueck's place, and a wonderful place it is,
and a wonderful party it was too!

There had been a fire in the apartment above us, and the resulting
water damage (which made our place look like a tropical rain forest
during monsoon season for a while there) made our apartment a definite
out-of-the-question for the party.

We still can't commit for this year's party. It all depends on if
we move out of our temporary-because-of-the-fire-we-had-to-move-to-
a-different-apartment-in-the-same-building-so-most-of-our-stuff-is-
still-in-boxes-in-the-dining-room-except-our-kitchen-and-computer-
stuff-and-other-main-living-needs-type-stuff-but-we've-gotten-pretty-
cozy-here-and-don't-really-want-to-move-but-we-need-a-bigger-apt-so-
if-we-actually-start-unpacking-then-we'll-be-committed-to-not-moving-
and-we're-fine-as-long-as-noone-ever-comes-over-unless-it's-Charley-
who-never-cares-what-our-place-looks-like-because-he-understands-
that-We're-Not-Normal-and-it's-ok-with-him...apartment.

If we haven't moved by early June, then perhaps Chip or another
Chicaoian should step in.
