And completely agree. Just as I wouldn't part with KaTe's TRS, but I would not consider in the same league as Dreaming or Hounds of Love. > > ..And what's more, Dolby's third LP, _Aliens Ate My Buick_, was not > only a remarkable change for Dolby (hire an L.A. rhythm section, and > record a funk-based album! Oh, and let's invite George Clinton, what > the hooey!) but it is also a fantastic album. Just brilliant. Again, I agree, although I think both GAoW and TFE stand head and shoulders above AAMB, that doesn't mean AAMB isn't a good album. > While his fourth, _Astronauts and Heretics_ left me a bit cold, > Dolby's first three albums strike me as must-haves. Again, it depends on who you are. A number of tracks, particularly "Cruel" and "Neon Sisters" stand out as particularly strong pieces. His album (from the video of computer animation by the same name) Gate to the Mind's Eye, is a pretty solid album, as well. If you haven't heard it, you should check it out. However, I don't want to stray to far from Kate. I'm not into list abuse. I was just attempting a comparison based on my own personal opinion. Obviously, I'm a little far out in left field. Off to listen to BfP and see what all the fuss is about, Kevin Willis http://www.ransomgroup.com/al_phlipp/
