And it goes great with peanut butter.

: Marmite (A trade name for yeast extract over here) great, peanut butter
: NO WAY, Just proves my GB tastes match Kate's. Other than I enjoy meat....

I grew up with Marmite and loved it, but I have not had it in ten years since
I moved to the USA. At first I couldn't eat peanut butter, like most Brits,
but I think it is an acquired taste. I now love it, and I can eat it with
a spoon while worrying about what it'll do to my wasteline. Great stuff!

So, I don't think dislike of PB is a genetic problem for Brits :-)
