Hi to all those who are out there,

We just had the episode of TNG screened here entitled "Masks", where
an ancient archive began to transform the Enterprise and various entities
had taken over Data.

Imagine my sense of Deja Vu when one of the entites in control of Data
began describing the various symbols to Picard...

ie  A line....., a curve....     if the next one had of been a cross
they would have had to take me away!!

    The Fruitopia "Fighting Fruit" spot made it into the Siggraph
(Special Interest Group on Graphics, Association for Computing 
Machinery) Electronic Theater. This is the yearly conference for
everyone involved in any area of computer graphics, and the ET
is a 2-hour show of the best of the year. Quite an honor to get
into this. Kate wasn't credited, but I *did* get to see this on
a 40' screen in the Shrine Auditorium (the hall where the Oscars
awards are handed out) through a huge sound system. *F*U*N*!

    The only other Kate fan I've met here is Mike Kaufman. Drop
me a note if anyone in LA wants to get together.
