Just a plain text file would be noice.

Not everyone has pkzip, or even likes it.  I prefer gnu's gzip and gtar.

Why not put it up on an ftp site and tell people where it is.. Then can 
get it by ftp or ftpmail.  Have three versions:

file.txt
file.tar.gz
file.zip
