Lance recalls a February 1978 appearance
by Kate Bush on "Pebble Mill", in which she
performed "Wuthering Heights". IED's records
indicate that this cannot be correct. (His
source is Peter FitzGerald-Morris's videologue,
the best source IED knows of.) The programme
was then called "Saturday Night at the Mill",
it aired February 25, 1978, and Kate did
perform, but not "Wuthering Heights". Rather,
she did "Moving" and "Them Heavy People".
Btw, this was not the same performance
of "THP" that Kate fans usually see in
collections -- that was from a May 20, 1978
edition of "Revolver". IED has yet to see a
copy of the "Saturday Night at the Mill" show
from 2/25/78.
IED found the McLachlan brief fascinating,
and wants to assure anyone who's interested
that IED has never (to the best of his recollection)
stalked, sued or threatened Kate Bush. His
obsession (for such it undoubtedly is!) is
with Kate Bush's work, not with her person.
He cannot, however, vouch for that Marvick nut. . .
