There was a UK show called "Pebble Mill at One", an early afternoon magazine
show.  This may have been abbreviated to "Pebble Mill".  I cannot say 
whether this show was on the air while WH was in the UK charts but I did
want to point out that what Lance refers to may be this afternoon show
rather than the evening show.
