Actually, when introducing MTV's premier of the video for "Love and Anger,"
Mr. Curry brought up this interview and what an impression it had made on him.
He was apparently still relatively new at that sort of thing, and Kate sent a
big Bentley limo, then met him at the gate (to the farm) personally.  He was
quite overwhelmed--or so he gave that impression--and seemed to be quite
taken with Kate herself.

I'm no raging fan of MTV (although The State is very well done), or of Adam
himself, but I think his work on setting-up and maintaining the MTV.com WWW
server has been excellent.  I wouldn't be quite so quick to write him off as
the typical MTV looks-no-thought pinhead.
