richard asked about caterwaul news...unfortunately, i have none. i got
_the nature of things_ cd directly from the band a few months ago and
a short note from betsy martin as well. she didn't have much to say: just
that things were going okay and that she'd send out more news as things
happened. since then though, nothing. maybe i'll write her a quick letter
(like i have time).

incidentially, i rather liked _the nature of things_. granted, it does
not have the same audial (that should be a word if it already isn't) im-
pact as _pin and web_, but it still packs a wallop.
