Karl works for Thinking Machines in Cambridge, MA (or at least used to).
He has produced animations in the past based on particles systems:
fireworks, water falls, "organic" evolutions, etc. Nice work. It should
appeal to the gaffa audience.

In the past, certain works of commercial value have been omitted, such
as various Pixar works (Tin Toy, etc.), as well as commercials. A Peter
Gabriel music video may fall in this class. These works are typically omitted
at the request of their creators, not the SIGGRAPH video editors.
