I have that CD-EP, and within a week of getting it, I lent it to a dj on the local rock/alternative station CHEZ. They had been playing "Silent...", and he mixed the CD-EP of that with the covers...great half hour set! The Nirvana cover is excellent...she plays it at the same speed a Nirvana, but at a slower tempo...really weird! "Angie" really makes one wonder about her gender preferences, as I have said before...but "Thank You had me in tears the first time I heard it for the sheer beauty of it. I saw Tori on Letterman...and my first impression was..."I wonder how many copies of Kate's LIVE AT THE HAMMERSMITH she has worn out". <g> There is an interesting add campain here in Canada (which, I guess would work as well in England)....It is a picture of Tori on one side, and a drawing of the Prime Minister of Canada, Lie'n Brian Mulroney. In the middle of the two is the text "FINALLY, A TORI YOU CAN TRUST" For those of you who don't know much about Canadian or British politics, a "Tory" is a member of the Progressive [sic] Conservative Party or the Conservatives in Canada and England respectively...and our (Canada's) PM is a Tory...
