John asks: >Ummm, you know, that posting about the bootlegs bought in Boston >reminded me of when I was there about three years ago and I saw a Kate >album, I forget the title, it was a double album, I think, and on the >back were two nude photos of Kate (well, one nude and one topless in >front of a mirror). Was this legit, or were they doctored photos, or >did Kate do a Penthouse spread a-la Madonna? If unauthorized and fake >(as I'm sorta inclined to believe), were the publishers ever caught or >is the album still available. This will most likely be well covered by the time this post makes it up but here goes anyway... The title of this double album bootleg is "Dreamtime" on the "PHARTING PHAROAH" (I kid you not :) label. "USA 13156" also appears on the spine of the album jacket. On the back of the album appears the following: "KATE BUSH - DREAMTIME RECORDED LIVE AT THE PALLADIUM 1979." Then song titles and photos. As far as I can tell this is a bootlegged "Live At The Hammersmith" performance that is unedited or at least edited differently from the official "LATH" video realise (what I'm trying to say is that it's not just a soundtrack from the video:). My understanding is that the name of the lovely young lady on the back cover with her hooters showing is model from England who called herself "Kate Simms" (sp) Indeed _not_ MS Bush. The sound quality sucks 'kinda bad however this boot has one thing going for it. The photo of KaTe on the front cover is stunning! Anyone with more info or who can correct any mistakes in the above please jump in... /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// /// *** Ken SaintJohn *** /// /// <ken@bsbbs.UUCP><{n8emr|nstar}!bluemoon!bsbbs!ken> /// /// "I think quotes are very dangerous things!"
