OOPS!  Ok, I'm having this brain sent out for repair *right away*.  I
left out an entire verse of The Handsome Cabin Boy's Lyrics, the one
between "..the waist did swell..." and "Oh, doctor, dear...".  The
missing verse (with a little context) is:

...
And the waist did swell on pretty Nell,
The handsome cabin boy.

'Twas down the Bay of Biscay
Our gallant ship did plow.
One night amongst the sailors
A hell of a flurry and row,
It tumbled the men from out of their hammocks,
Their sleep it did destroy,
Terrible cursing and the moaning of
The handsome cabin boy.

"Oh doctor, dear, oh, doctor,"
The cabin boy did cry,
