I can't believe you actually saw Hawkwind! Haven't they
been around forever. I seem to remember they played
at some festival where Jimi Hendrix played and Jimi later
dedicated a song to the "cat in silver" as one of the
Hawkwind players was painted silver. It's actually on
some Hendrix album. 

I love their levitation album but haven't heard anything
