Subject: Various and sundry KaTe stuff....
Hi, all! It's been a while, but after IED's extravaganza and all, I had a lot to read through. I had a couple of observations and questions. First, I remember my first time seeing Kate on video, and I was bitterly disappointed. But as I watched her again and again, I realized that her exaggerated movements and expressions were important, because they help set a tone for a song or even further expalin the meaning. My favorites are still Cloudbusting and Hounds of Love, I think. Did anyone besides me cry out,"Her beautiful hair is gone!!" on first seeing the Cloudbusting video? My question was, how did Kate choose which songs to put on TWS? She's had more singles that appear there, and I, for one, was disappointed in her not including Suspended in Gaffa and The Big Sky. Well, my office mate wants her computer back, so I'm gonna go. I'll be in touch. Love to all, Lizooshka
