Summary: Record stores...

A brief anti-Newbury Comics flame:

They are wicked obnoxious clowns, charge too much, and have a bad
tendency to play records then sell them. I FINALLY found a copy of 801
Live there, paid a LOT of dough for it, and then found out they had
played it a LOT. When I complained, they refused to make me happy.
(Now its out on CD for the same $, sigh). Somebody I know worked
there, and they fired her rather than giving her an (automatic) raise.

They also do not have a Phonolog.

However, they have lots of pseudo-cool t-shirts, and lots o' hair gel.

I cain' wait for Tower to open up. I'm actually setting money aside.

Well, they do have more imports than anybody else.

Names of stores to go to:
Underground Records (fine selection)
Looney Tunes (jazz heaven, Russ Meyer movies)
Planet Records (high prices, but they got stuff)
Disc Diggers (you do the digging)
In Your Ear! (best store in the universe, more or less)
Second Coming (Very Great for boots, wicked friendly)
Mystery Train (EG cutouts, old stuff, Base Records stocked)
CHeapo Records (bring a shovel, or ask for any single before 1965)

There are about 10-15 more. Have fun exploring..............bc
