Subject: KTrivia
About the On Stage question: Sorry. Obviously, IED's memory was faulty. (He hasn't listened to the On Stage EP in a very long time.) Anyway, thanks to Mark and Jon for clearing that up. >And count me in on the adhesive label collection for a katemas card.. XLNT. You're counted in. But nothing will happen unless you send IED your label! A. Marvick, 10499 Wilkins Ave., L.A., CA 90024. Re the announcement in Pulse! about the Secret Policeman's Third Ball video and LP: note that it was printed in the What's new in London section. Don't count on domestic releases. (The info was actually published about a month ago in the British music weeklies.) Julian Cowley is now on the Love-Hounds KompilaTion list (at #39!). Perhaps Neil Calton has some information about the possible identity of the "him" for whom Kate's "There Goes a Tenner" gang used to vote? About the Irish band fashion, the Chieftains also guested on the track "All Fall Down", on Ultravox's latest LP, U-VOX. It's probably not at all co-incidental that Midge Ure is a huge and longtime fan of Kate's, and that he named Hounds of Love the best album of 1985. Finally, to Jamie: IED believes it's "Ms." Sakamoto, no? Thomas Dolby's reference is to Akiko Yano, who sang back-up for him on "Radio Silence", and who is married to Riuichi Sakamoto. -- Andrew
