Addenda to the Japan/David Sylvian stuff:
There's also a Japanese video which accompanies the release of
Alchemy (An Index of Possibilities), entitled "Preparations for
the Journey". It features a number of traditional Japanese folk
melodies in addition to some of the Alchemy-type material. I know
that you can at least get it through WaxTrax in Chicago.

In addition, there's also a video soundtrack on Japanese JVC
by Jansen and Barbieri called "Worlds in a Small Room" that's
pretty nice, and features a *lovely* cross between the theme of
"Merry CHristmas, Mr. Lawrence" (the vocal version w/Sylvian and
Sakamoto is called "Forbidden Colours") and late Japan called
"Move in Circles" that's worth the cost of the album. They do a
credible fake of Sylvian's voice on the cut, but you wind up
wondering how it would have sounded with the original.
