Love-Hounds (and rec.music.gaffa) status & archives

Your humble pseudo-moderator wishes to apologize for lengthy delays
affecting most Love-Hounds submissions for the past few weeks.  He was
struck by a hard drive crash that not only took him off the Internet for
some time, but also destroyed the scripts he uses to keep the mail flowing.
These situations have both been rectified and Love-Hounds is back to normal
operation (which means an average delay of a couple of days before posted
messages appear, rather than three weeks).

Additionally: the Love-Hounds archives have been moved from their old home
at UUNET and have been brought up to date through today (12 November 1997).

The archives now reside at ftp://gryphon.com/love-hounds/.  Files are
arranged by year.  Messages are split into individual files (in UNIX mail
format) which each contain 100 messages (except for the final file for each
year).
