I thought I would share this conversation with all here at the newsgroup. Are any of you up for an e-mail campaign? Subject: Britannica Online (Kate Bush) Date: Wed, 6 Aug 97 14:00:45 From: Lars Mahinske <lmahinsk@eb.com> To: seaweb <seaweb@ix.netcom.com> Dear reader: Please excuse our unseemly delay in responding to your remarks concerning Kate Bush. A heavy workload prevented a quicker reply. We regret any inconvenience due to the omission of information on this noted singer of popular music. We have suggested to the editors that they consider adding an entry on Ms. Bush at some future date. Sincerely, Lars Mahinske Editorial Division --- On Thu, 03 Jul 1997 20:38:54 +0000 seaweb@ix.netcom.com wrote: huh? Date: Wed, 25 Jun 1997 22:06:51 +0000 From: seaweb@ix.netcom.com To: tellus@eb.com Are you kidding?! I go to the sample search, and type in "Kate Bush," and there's... NOTHING? Is this the Brittanica?... your highly skilled representatives never answered my inquiry. do they intend to? my message may have seemed a little forward, but my disappointment was sincere. Kate Bush is an enormously popular recording/video artist, and i was interested in reading how her career was being distilled by the britannica. Imagine my surprise that you let her evaporate completely. will someone respond?
