To me it is a journey back to my childhood, again and again.
Mother turned the radio on, and sometimes a high voice sang interesting
songs ;) on our regional broadcasting service.
Sometimes hearing TKI or also LH leads my mind back to this time, I can
see the kitchen of the flat I grew up in......

But KfB is a more modern song, quite similar to the songs on the later
albums than any other song on LH.

LH is the album for Kate addicts, and it is maybe a bit to soft.
TKI was launched as a pure commercial project, I think, while LH also
presents less commercial songs and was produced in this way.

It was quite difficult for her and the team to produce LH, because EMI
wanted to see a lot of sold records, so LH could not sound too differently
from TKI. Another aspect is that KT did not have much time because EMI
wanted to see the return of investment soon ;)

But then I think it got too soft, a bit too soft and the voice is
sometimes overcompressed.

What do the love-hounds think about this matter who bought TKI in 78 ?
