Well - in big part that's my problem, in little part that's my problem
again. GaffaWeb's FAQ was created from my FAQ by Vickie, and somehow
Vickie and I still haven't acted on a regular update scheme.

The bigger problem is that I haven't been able to keep up maintaining
the FAQ for the past 8 months or so. I have done just a few changes
to the FAQ text but I haven't been able to include all that's neccessary
and to send it out.

It hasn't been missed too much anyway ;-) [that is, there weren't a lot
of complaints... yours was the first]

Is there anyone out there who feels s/he can do a better job posting
the FAQ regularly? To do so, you should

- have complete control over the headers of news messages you send
- having access to unix tools like diff etc. would make life easier
with generating the diff posting of the FAQ which goes to the mailing
  list as well.
- have more time than me (easy...)

I'm not declining from maintaining the FAQ, I just feel the miserable
service I've been doing the past few months might call for a change
which I cannot guarantee to provide. I can only promise to try to
change this, but I can't really guarantee it.

At least I've set up my new computer so that it is possible for me
to send out the FAQ again - I've moved to a new computer (rocket.robin.de)
though all my mail still seems (just seems) to come from zoodle.robin.de
which will also stay my email address. So things *might* be a bit better
in the future.

Nevertheless - any volunteers?

Ciao,

Uli
