It is a lot more likely that rhythmic phrasing and overloading the semantic have more to do with kate's choice of words in LYRICS. "Execute" has impact. "Enter" sounds like Piccard in his ready room. She's writing songs not technical manuals. As for the sounds, ever try to use recordings of real falling rain at low volume in a stereo mix of layered tracks or blamed the Babylon V producers for the sounds of the White Star in open space? While here: someone wondered why I would avoid listening to Kate for four years then become so active on the list: 1. Broken heart. Same old story. Two people love the same artist and each other. Life happens, the two loves are intimately entangled, and the rough cut required to maintain balance means both have to go until the knots are untangled. "Take away the love and the anger and the little bit of rope holding us together..". 2. I got an internet account and went looking for Kate lists first thing. I hit the Experiment IV page and never turned back. 3. Building the Kate Worlds is something I've been waiting to do for a decade. Once the technology was there, it was just time and sweat equity. The help I got from LoveHounds was invaluable. So, the mourning was over and it was time to get on with it. BTW: Common Ground is reviewed on the Microsoft Music page. len
