It's a book from Rene Appel (NL) and it's called "De Derde Persoon" or
"The Third Person" in English.
The book is first published in March 1990 by Uitgeverij Bert Bakker Amsterdam.

Also the quote is translated by me. It is originally in Dutch.

Bye for now. Ellen.
