Only 5? that's not easy...
(in no particular order)

Under Ice/Waking The Witch: A nightmare set to sound.
Hounds Of Love was my first Kate album. Although I didn't find out
that The Ninth Wave was meant as one concept piece, I somehow felt
these two tracks belong together. (and Kyle linked them too :-)

James And The Cold Gun: Hearing this track from the 'On Stage' live EP was
probably the moment that finally made me a fan of Kate's music.
It's also great to hear what the band can add to her song.

Experiment IV: I heard it first when I saw the video, I can't think of the
song separately now. It's a perfect soundtrack, with it's suspense,
dark atmosphere, Nigel Kennedy's violin and Kate's haunting vocals.

The Dreaming: turn down the light. turn up your speakers (make sure the
neighbours are out). feel the didgeridoo. find the bullroarer.
	count the sheep. dream.
(sometimes i just have to do this. that's the pull of the Bush.)

The Kick Inside: A beautifully sad song, beautifully sung. And even better
as "home demo" (without the string orchestra)

there's so much still missing:

Cloudbusting: was a tough decision between this and Eperiment IV

Wuthering Heights: no explanation needed

Surrender Into The Roses: It's a pity that some of the home demos never came out.

Suspended In Gaffa: Catchy and enigmatic. And I really thought it was a
secret agent story, set somewhere in the middle east.

Coffee Homeground: Kate can show some humour too...

honourable mentions: My Lagan Love, Big Stripey Lie, Ne t'enfuis pas,
Leave It Open, Rocket's Tail, Violin, Houdini,...

bye, Rolf
