Now I am depressed...
I was browsing at MediaPlay (US media retail outlet) to see what new music had
been released, since it usually shows up at the used CD store when people
actually listen to it, and I noticed a sale rack. Sometimes you can find real
values in the sales rack....
I came upon KaTe CDs. The first five KaTe CDs. Now, this is not that bad.
When someone shows up on the sale rack, it is usually 'cause the store can't
sell them at their regular price. So it means KaTe doesn't sell well in Salt
Lake City, UT, USA. Big surprise, huh?
But then I noticed the price. I bought my CDs (the second CD I ever purchased
was 'The Kick Inside', right after Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon') at a
very premium price - approx. 18 US$. These CDs were offered for less than 8
US$. I always get annoyed at that. Why can't they offer CDs at a fair price
rather than markup the popular ones and discount the rest? I know, I know,
they want to make money... I just get annoyed, that's all.
I'll return to lurk mode... we now return you to your regularly scheduled
argument.

The only thing that hurts more than paying income tax
