This should be read as:
"It's Murph, playing his guitar refrain",
referring to the late Alan Murphy who played guitar on many of Kate's 
songs up to The Hounds of Love Album. His 'day job' was playing guitar in 
Level 42.

Moments of Pleasure makes several references to the dead, including 
Kate's mother.
