I think Kate looks a lot like Mary Steenburgen (I hope I spelled that
right).  I honestly don't think most Kate fans would care if she
were ugly I certainly don't.  Looks have nothing to do with the
appeal of her music (she even stated this in an interview on MuchMusic
in 1987  - she basically said her music is foremost and finds all the 
talk about her looks "complimentary".
