I haven't decided if it's a joke or not.

It was a take-off on old superstitions about never mentioning the name of a
devil or demon, because naming the being could invoke it.

Yes "evil" is certainly too strong a word for him, but I lived through several
of his flame wars on love-hounds and I can say with full certainty that the last
thing I want is to have him back around here. If you never experienced one, you
have know idea how ugly they could be. In both public and private e-mail he
seemed increasingly irrational and paranoid as time went on. The term "loony"
comes to mind.

It's an old, dead issue (I hope) and I'd rather not go into it any deeper than
that. Sorry I brought it up.
