to all of you who wondering about Kate and Tori: Sorry............... I once had read an interview in Rolling Stone and when asked about Tori Amos, Kate`s reply was simply, `She`s very...um.. interesting` and then avowed to not havong listened to very much of her music. She finds most modern music quite boring. Personally, I think that the only thing that puts Tori and Kate together is the simple fact that they both play piano (less Kate now) and are female singer songwriters. Tori Amos has been influenced by Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones and is friends with PJ Harvey, Bjork, Trent Reznor (of Nine Inch Nails, who collaborated on `Past The Mission`. Kate was influenced by Bowie, Peter Gabriel, and Pink Floyd. Kate is an extrovert, Tori and introvert. The more I listen to them, the more I see diferences. I will acknowledge that Kate and Tori are very similar when it comes to comparisons of `The Kick Inside`and `Little Earthquakes` but that`s it for me. Sorry to dissapoint you all. Simon
