Chris and I checked _Cloudbusting_ using the keywords "mother," "kids,"
and "children" and found quite a few entries. I was wrong. Kate did
say this:
"I don't see myself as maternal" (Cloudbusting 3A - keyword "children"
starting line 1,469. From an article
called "What Kate Bush Did Next" 1985)

Mea culpa (or whatever)
However, if I don't know Cloudbusting by heart, then neither do you,
Mr Ford. (Who does, other than Ron and IED?) Your "I take it you have
not read 'Cloudbusting'" rankled a little. Have *you* read the *whole*
thing? A simple "In Cloudbusting she said she didn't see herself as
maternal. I don't remember exactly where at the moment but I'm sure
I saw it" would have sufficed. Read on...
A couple of paragraphs later (line 1,506) Kate says this:
"I suppose I am quite maternal, and it's something I'd like one of these
days" (referring to having children. From _Musician_ interview 1990)

It's a lady's perogative to change her mind, especially when there's a
biological clock involved. It's a theory. Nothing more, nothing less.
It is mine. That's all. Ok bye.
