Bjork is *absolutely* worth listening to. Her first album, "Debut" is
full of infectious dance rhythms, and one flat-out brilliant single
"Big-Time Sensuality". I liked it well enough, appreciated her quirky
vocals and the overall sound...

The second record, though, is much more varied, adventurous, and
interesting. Go bAck to the listening station and turn up "Army of Me"
LOUD, and see if you don't get mesmerized.

There's also an import-only cd called "Gling-Glo" which is all lounge
music sung in Icelandic! Hard to find & v. expensve. For afdficionados
only.

BEST of all ---- she's touring, and I saw her on Saturday in a club here
in Boston. She's absolutely riveting, and her voice is every bit as
powerful live as on cd (I had wondered if she got an edge from electronic
tweaking -nope). *See* this concert if you get a chance.

Bjork is also cute as a bug's ear, and she's got this amazing repertoire
of comic faces she puts on, which fit her music and movement
delightfully. I don't think I've enjoyed any concert more.

Buy!
