Subject: SF Katemas-great work!
To: Love-Hounds@uunet.uu.net
Hi Everyone, May I third or fourth the positive remarks posted by others about the SF party. I was able to stop in for a while, about halfway thru the debut of the new tape. Boy, IED, what a bang-up job. John and Karen, your contributions are not overlooked; you all did quite a great job on this tape-it will sit proudly next to my vol. 1 set. I agree about the Jeapordy game-whooo! I had to leave before "final" jaepordy (never could spell that word), but I was battle-worn even by then. Our team was holding up well considering we were outmanned by our humble(?) psycho-modeerator helping the other team every chance he got just so he could watch Jessica get mad. ;-) It was hot, and I don't just mean the record 99 degrees setting a new record for SF. :-) Lots of new stuff on this volume 2 of the Love-Hounds series. Well, not "new" new stuff; with Kate you get what you can get. Even a cleaner "Mrs. Mopp" dub of the "Army Dreamers" performance (why am I not surprised that this would end up on any tape to do with Andy :-)? I dug the raw footage of the last Kon-poor Kate; the way people were following her every move makes me appreciate her reluctance to do much publicly anymore. I treasure each Katemas as an opportunity to renew old aquaintences, see old friends, meet new ones. This was no exception. Nice to see you all again- Karen, "natalie merchant", Jessica(!), all the old faces. I hear talk of next year's bay area party being in Half Moon Bay!! Coooooool! We can go look for the ninth wave or something... Larry Hernandez -San Jose CA (larry@hal.com)
