The song is almost certainly called "The Craft of Love",
as StevO suggests. But this doesn't mean that she doesn't
say "life" in at least one or two cases in the song. To
IED's imperfect ear, it sounds like "life" in a couple of
lines.

As for "life" being irrelevant to the song's theme:
well, "love" is certainly more directly relevant, but
Kate has several times made clear her association of
human sexuality with larger issues of "life energy",
etc., so the alternation of the phrase "craft of love"
with "craft of life" doesn't seem terribly unlikely to
this listener.
