Probably not much room for flaming here (but who knows :) )
There's a flower called "night scented stock", so called because its
blossoms emit a wonderful odour after sunset. I saw it mentioned in a
gardening article.

Of course, there may be more metaphorical meanings (flame on :) ) but
that's the (or 'a') literal meaning.
