Thanks for the info.  I have Brewer's but didn't look under "goose", 
which I guess makes me one!

I had asked this questions of the Atlantic Monthly's Almanac, which gives 
a "moon name" each month along with a list of comets, eclipses, meteor 
showers, etc.  They were very interested and asked me to get back to them 
if I found anything.

Now I have something.  Thanks again!
