Here we go again...

Sorry if I'm quoting you incorrectly, Chris, but could you please explain to
those of us with much less knowledge of Kate's personal life just exactly how
Lily's influence has been pernicious, i.e. very destructive or injurious?
I think comments like that are deeply offensive, whether or not you share
certain beliefs.

I can understand how you might feel that Lily's influence might undermine
Kate's rational thinking--perhaps 'insidious' is the word you're looking
for?  But then, I don't share what I perceive to be your basic assumption,
i.e. spiritual beliefs/practices == irrationality.  Rather, I believe
unsupported generalizations == irresponsibility.

Just couldn't let it pass, sorry.
