Hey Keith, would that be the same Jack Zipes who wrote the fascinating
"Trials and Tribulations of Little Red Riding Hood"?

One of my favourite books, which introduced me to Angela Carter's utterly
incredible short story The Company of Wolves, source of Neil Jordan's
utterly incredible film.

Hope Jordan can pull that same magick off with Interview w/the Vampire .
. . we'll find out this weekend.

Anyone who plagued their mother to read them Little Red Riding Hood five
or six times a day as a child will love this book. I think Zipes has a
second edition out with even more collected tales of the Red Hood. I
wonder if she had Red Shoes to match?
