I was pleased to see the Finnish V�rttin�
mentioned few (hundreds?) messages ago.
But the exact line was "V�rttin�, Finland, Celtic.
???   The melodies and "style" of V�rttin� are
Carelian, which was once part of Finland,
now being the northwestern part of Russia.
IMHO V�rttin� is much closer to that Bulgarian
female choir than Celtic.
The word V�rttin� means that spinning thing
held in hand when making thread decades ago.
