I asked somebody who mentioned this (David Gibbs,
davidg@compnews.co.uk) on alt.fan.douglas-adams (I think) a while back
what this was all about, and he said he thought there was no evidence
to support the assertion that Kate wrote Kinda, other than

a) Kinda had themes reminiscent of some of Kate's songs
b) Kate wore something vaguely Cyberman-like in a video
c) Nobody has ever met Chris Bailey

He also said that a certain Paul Cornell once wrote an article for
"DWM" (presumably a Dr Who fanzine?) debunking several rumours,
including this one....
