Hmmm... There was a topic just like this recently in the Kate folder on
AOL.

Anyway, most of the stark raving KateFans(tm) I know In Real Life are
female.  And most of the male KateFans are gay.  Other people have
talked about the Female KateFan Phenomena better than I could (due to my xy
chromosones), so I won't go into that here.
