In a small bit about Danielle Dax's new album Pop Eyes, Dirk Preston in Axcess magazine said: "...Pop Eyes features cover art that was originally considered so horrible it was banned in the UK. Featuring a grinning face composed of torn out, cut-up images made from various parts of infected, bleeding, rotted flesh--a far cry from the usual Kate Bush-esque frills and glamour that many female songwriters can't seem to escape." Indeed, the small picture of the album cover is not pretty, but it sounds like an interesting album. magritte@goren.u.washington.edu Quote of foolishness: gmoore@u.washington.edu "Self-interest has no place in society." surreal@eskimo.com -- Sandy Cuney, Handgun Control, Inc.
