Hi,

My remark about "de Efteling" led to a couple of questions.

Well, the park was named after an inn called "De Ingteling" (or
something like that) which stood at the site of the later built
amusement park. "Ingteling" degenerated to "Efteling" in the course
of a few centuries.

This has been intriguing me for a few years now, and I finally
decided to call the park. They new about the TVspecial, even knew
it was filmed by the Dutch TROS broadcasting company, but weren't
too sure about that gravestone. They will investigate on this, and
I will hear from them next week.
The people I spoke only worked there for a few years, but luckily
there are still a few employees around from those days. So we will
shortly know if that gravestone is more than just a myth...

I'll post as soon as I hear from them!
