I think woj is more accurate in saying that the phrase about "there being some love-hounds in attendance" came _after_ the list of countries from which fans were known to be coming, hence _after_ the US was mentioned, but not necessarily "in connection with" as Evan Walsh correctly remembers me saying. That was definitely the impression made on me, but is an interpretation, not the naked fact. Briefly on the love-in-the-title Quiz question: when Andy Marvick was out Saturday, IED ruled that "Alternative Hounds of Love" *is* an 8th correct answer. This was after we looked at the UK 12" vinyl and saw that title on the disk itself. ...............................................................................
